Introducing The New Aesthetics We're Adding to The Style Catalog for 2026

Every spring here at A Curated Thrift we drop new styles to ring in the new year of fashion after all of the shows. And this year, we're bringing back two old favorites that have resurfaced on the runways lately. And they are Athleisure and Librarian Chic (aka Poet-Core).  Bookish layers are what people are looking for when it comes to going into the office, but they want to have an easy way to do that around their hectic every day lives, which is where our Athleisure style comes into play. So be prepared to mix up your wardrobe this year by adding casual pieces with a quirky touch and making it functional for the every day.

Athleisure

Health is wealth and wellness is in full force. Which makes sense to why we saw sportswear apparel all over the runways this past spring at fashion week. Whether it was in the form of basketball shorts paired with a beaded cami and a blazer, or a track pant paired with a trench. Bright colors and pastels were abundant too, so not just neutrals. Librarian Chic

But what also rivaled a more juxtapose casual approach to fashion were the romantic aesthetics like poet-core that dawned the runways this spring. We saw cardigans on tops of blouses on top of tanks on top of dresses, all done in a very intentional way. This style was actually one of our very first styles back in 2020. It took off because lots of people still wanted to dress up when working from home. Well we're ready to dress up again but in a smart way.
